The Greater Hyannis Civic Association (GHCA) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization established to promote the welfare and advancement of the Greater Hyannis community.

GHCA members participate in local committees in the Town of Barnstable and Hyannis such as:

• Barnstable Airport Commission

• Barnstable Police Neighborhood Watch

• Comprehensive Finance Advisory Committee

• Town Council Committee on Homelessness

• Barnstable Economic Development Committee

• Friends of Hyannis Library

• Hyannis Water Board

 

GHCA is a key sponsor of great events such as:

• Hyannis Open Streets

• Voices of The Village Task Forces

• Hyannis 4th of July Bicycle Parade

• Hyannis Harbor Santa’s Boat parade

 

The GHCA Board of Directors meets at the Steamship Authority Terminal Building conference room on School Street in Hyannis at 6:30 PM on the second Tuesday of each month.  This monthly meeting is open to all members and the public.
